Week 5 of The Apprentice saw the contestants vying to be Lord Sugar’s latest business partner, set the task of launching a new Formula E team complete with a new brand ahead of attracting sponsors for their race cars.
This was a week in which Garage star and music entrepreneur Tre Lowe took top billing.
As project manager, Lowe led his team, which included protection adviser Raj Chohan, to victory.
Chohan found herself in a branding team which came up with a logo that Lowe thought looked like an 8-bit video game, leaving Lowe work to do in trying to convince sponsors to part with their cash.
In truth, both project managers acquitted themselves well as opposing project manager Dr Paul Midha managed to impress sponsor Indian conglomerate Tata by using the colours of the Indian tricolour on their car.
However, while Onyeka Nweze seemed to stall in her presentation to sponsors, Lowe’s will to win proved decisive as his team took the chequered flag first in attracting more money from sponsors.
This led Midha to bring Virdi Singh Mazaria and Nweze back with him into the boardroom, with Nweze sent on her way.
