Punter Southall Aspire has appointed David Taylor as managing principal to spearhead its health and protection practice.
Taylor (pictured) joins from consultant firm Connor Broadley where he was benefits consulting director for almost two years.
He has built a career in financial services focusing on the corporate sector since 1995, including positions at JLT, Mazars, Broadstone and Towergate.
And his experience includes defined benefit and defined contribution pensions and risk management along with healthcare and wellbeing.
Commenting on his appointment, Taylor said: “Our experience in this sector means we can contribute to employees’ health and wellbeing.
“We’re passionate about what we do and aim to demystify this area for our clients to help them reach a keener understanding of how this fits together, delighting them with new propositions.”
The firm has also promoted Gavin Zaprzala-Banks to managing principal responsible for defined contribution pensions.
Zaprzala-Banks has been at Punter Southall group since 2010.
