Reassured has added Scottish Widows to its life insurance panel.

From Tuesday (14 January), Reassured has provided quotes for customers for life and critical illness cover from Scottish Widows.

The partnership aims to ensure consumers will continue to be able to access a range of competitive products via some of the largest insurer brands in the UK, through both its digital and telephony channels.

Scottish Widows was chosen after a competitive tender process conducted earlier in the year.

Mark Townsend, CEO at Reassured, said: “Scottish Widows is one of the most recognisable brands in financial services and they are a leading provider of life protection products in the UK market.

“Throughout the tender process we were impressed by their scale, ambition and focus on consumer outcomes.

“They have a strong team with whom we look forward to working closely to continue to improve customer choice and value.”

Rose St Louis, protection director at Scottish Widows, (pictured) said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Scottish Widows and reflects our ambition to continue to grow our market share in the Protection space.

“Reassured has a desire to engage customers in all walks of life, through both advised and guidance telephony channels.

“Their diverse business model and recent partnership wins align to our aim to protect more of the UK population and close the protection gap.”
