Reassured has signed a referral agreement to support Beagle Street customers who are unable to take out the insurer’s own life cover.
Beagle Street offers life and critical illness cover direct to customers via its website and call centre, as well as through selected intermediaries and price comparison websites.
The insurer said that with Consumer Duty in mind it wanted to give a route to protection even for those with medical conditions which make its own cover unavailable.
Reassured has already signed similar agreements with other insurers and comparison services such as Sun Life and Go.Compare.
Phil Jeynes, director of corporate strategy at Reassured said: “Being able to offer cover for all is at the core of our mentality and we have a mantra of never saying no to a customer.
“Our dedicated impaired lives team are experts in finding policies for people with all sorts of medical conditions and needs across the whole of the market.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer this service to Beagle Street customers.”
Mark Mullaney, head of partnerships and distribution for Beagle Street, said: “Our products offer great protection for all sorts of people but of course there are some for whom a different solution is appropriate.
“Rather than offer those customers a dead end, we wanted to make sure we passed them to a trusted partner with a proven track record in exceptional customer service.”
