Reproductive health insurance provider Juniper has entered into partnership with specialist data analytics solutions provider Optalitix.
Juniper aims to address a gap in the health insurance market by providing comprehensive genital insurance, often excluded by other healthcare products.
Juniper has selected Optalitix Models to offer quotations and a seamless service to brokers promoting its new offering to the market.
In February, Health & Protection reported that insurance start-up Juniper had raised a £1.5m pre-launch investment for its reproductive healthcare insurance offering.
Optalitix is an insurance software company providing a platform for pricing and underwriting insurance policies.
Optalitix Models offers pricing for coverage, with access for brokers, their clients, and employees to Juniper’s market-first products.
It offers two online products: Optalitix Models, which enables any model to be hosted and managed in the Cloud with integrations to core policy systems; and Optalitix Quote, which provides a pricing platform and underwriting workbench for underwriting departments.
By using Optalitix Models, Juniper will be able to place its Excel models in the cloud with API integrations via a scalable operating system in a controlled environment.
This enables enhanced audit trails, testing, progressive adoption, and correction without being limited by inefficient procedures or infinite versions of Excel files with significant discrepancies.
