Resolution Life has confirmed Moses Ojeisekhoba will succeed Sir Clive Cowdery as CEO from 1 July 2026. Sir Clive will then continue in his role as executive chairman.

In October 2024, Resolution Life appointed Ojeisekhoba (pictured) as president and identified him as Sir Clive’s successor as CEO at some point this year.

The firm said that since joining Resolution Life, Ojeisekhoba had led the team to a year of record capital deployment, directed the company’s market-facing division, and worked on the integration of Resolution Life into Nippon Life.

Sir Clive, whose first business under the Resolution Life brand was formed in 2003, has worked within the life insurance consolidation sector for more than 20 years.

The completion of the acquisition of Resolution Life by Nippon Life marks the fourth time Sir Clive has founded, built and sold a consolidation and reinsurance company, raising and deploying more than $20bn of equity within the global life insurance industry.

He will continue in his current role as executive chairman, and he will also assist Nippon Life as it furthers its international expansion.
