Santé Group has partnered with dementia digital engagement firm Memory Lane Games to embed its structured cognitive stimulation app for dementia into its employee benefits platform, MySanté.
The app provides a means of sharing personalised connections and reminiscences, via a third-party supporter/carer, thus sharing a resource that can calm and reassure dementia sufferers.
Employees also have access to a range of support articles and video-based tutorials, to help them cope with the combined pressures of working and caring.
The content is currently available to individual families on a monthly subscription, but, as with its other aggregated benefits, such as mental health, debt advice and virtual GP support, Santé Group will supply the content as part of their existing employers’ platform and within the employer’s existing spend.
Paul Nugent, CEO at Santé Group, (pictured) said: “Everyone knows someone living with Dementia. It impacts entire families as they battle to cope.
“I’ve seen the impact of the Memory Lane Games App first-hand, it’s a game changer. While not every employee will need this service, for those who do, the value will be immeasurable”.
Bruce Elliott, co-founder of Memory Lane Games, added: “We’re delighted with this partnership with Santé Group, taking our therapeutic support to those families who need it most and with the added advantage of being within the My Santé platform. Our aim has always been to make a positive difference and the team at Santé Group are helping us to achieve that.”
