Santé Group has launched Santé Care, a new healthcare offering developed in partnership with Patient Advocate and underwritten by Pulse Insurance.

The solution aims to offer uninsured and underinsured employees quicker personalised access to healthcare.

Santé Care (£179 per person per annum) delivers nurse-led medical case management for individuals without health insurance or with limited cover.

Employees can speak directly with qualified nurses for advice, reassurance, and for help navigating NHS support.

An enhanced care service, Santé Care Plus (£269 per person per annum) includes all the benefits of Santé Care, plus an additional £750 benefit for outpatient consultations and diagnostic tests, available when recommended by a nurse case manager.

Key features include:

  • Nurse-led case management: dedicated nurse case managers guide employees through every stage of care — from initial concern to diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Support is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm.
  • No exclusions for pre-existing conditions: Santé Care aims to offer equitable support where traditional private medical insurance may fall short. While both Santé Care and Santé Care Plus cover pre-existing conditions under the nurse case management facility, Santé Care Plus may exclude pre-existing conditions and will be subject to a policy moratorium under the £750 outpatient consultation and diagnostic benefit only.
  • MySanté health and wellbeing app: A digital platform aiming to enable proactive health management, direct communication with qualified nurses, and access to tailored health tools.
  • Improved access to care: Working closely with GPs and NHS services, Santé Care can help fast-track treatment pathways, reduce hospital visits, and support long-term condition management.
  • Tailored support across all ages: Up to five managed cases per year for individuals under 60, and one for those aged 60 and over.

Alison Wignall, operations director at Santé Group, (pictured) said: “Inclusive and accessible healthcare should be a given, not a luxury.

“Santé Care provides employers with a practical way to support the health and wellbeing of their entire workforce.

“Through Santé Care, we’re helping to remove barriers to healthcare and assisting employers to deliver a robust solution to their workforce.

“It’s about timely advice, tailored care, and making health services easier to access and navigate.

“These services aim to reduce workplace absence, improve health outcomes, and create stronger support networks for long-term conditions — setting a new standard of care for today’s diverse workforce.”

Jayne Molyneux, head of managed healthcare services at Patient Advocate, said: “This partnership is about more than coverage.

“It’s about giving people timely, meaningful help when they need it most — and helping businesses support the people who keep them running.”

Ben Broom, head of Pulse Health and special risks, added: “We have been working with Santé Group for many years and are delighted to take the next step in this partnership with the launch of Santé Care.

“Alongside the recent medical products we have brought to market, Pulse have again shown we are able to facilitate a non-standard insurance product using our expertise within the A and H market.

“Santé Care is innovative and relevant given the current climate within the NHS and the rising need to access quick and effective treatment.

“We continue to look at new ways to respond to customer need and provide products that offer a new look at how we insure our health. We are excited at this recent addition.”
