Santé Group has unveiled MySanté – its new employee benefits app which is set to launch in November.
At a product launch event at the City of London club yesterday, Paul Nugent, chief executive of Santé Group, (pictured) told an audience that the app in development would be a whole of market solution that would feature three tiles labelled Health, That’s Life and Rewards.
The tiles will direct users to solutions which will include a virtual GP service and an employee assistance programme provided by HealthHero, debt and legal advice provided by Irwin Mitchell, cyber risk protection provided by CyberQ, rewards and discounts provided by PeopleValue and health and fitness services which are likely to be provided by a company Santé has an existing relationship with.
At the event, Nugent told Health & Protection that the app has been defined by the providers Santé has chosen to work with.
“We as experts at Santé have chosen the providers that we know work and will connect everything together,” Nugent said.
“It’s knowing these products work. It’s not directing clients to large corporate entities but people we know – and we know that proposition works.”
Nugent explained that in his view, SMEs need a more personalised approach.
“We’re trying to look after employees for life – all the things that can wrong. It’s affordable and not just health insurance. It’s access to lots of stuff because many SMEs can’t afford health insurance so we’re doing something to protect life and home and general life and health.”
Nugent added the app is set to launch in November and will be available on IOS and the Google app store.
