Setul Mehta has been appointed head of partnership services at The Openwork Partnership with a focus on “bringing Consumer Duty to life”.
In his new role, Mehta (pictured) will take responsibility for building and deploying an advice team to help support group advisers engage with more retail financial services clients across all licence areas followed by building a centralised client services function to widen the overall benefit to advisers and clients.
Metha has been with the organisation for more than 17 years and has taken the role after being head of business development and adviser services since October 2021.
He joined the firm in autumn of 2005 as London & South East area business manager, progressing to sales development consultant in the summer of 2012.
Mehta became sales development consultant team leader two years later and then sales operations manager for the partnership’s mortgage and wealth channel in spring 2017.
He then took on head of sales operations in 2019, before being appointed head of business development operations in 2020.
He joined the partnership from Zurich Life where he was a business support assistant.
