Simplyhealth has appointed Rick Buoy to the role of business development manager.
Buoy was previously at Bupa where he was business development manager for more than two years from 2022.
Prior to that Buoy was at Aviva as a field trading consultant for more than three years.
Before that he worked at ActiveQuote as a private medical insurance consultant for almost two years.
Buoy announced his new appointment on LinkedIn saying: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as business development manager at Simplyhealth.”
Previously he paid tribute to his time at Bupa and said: “After a week and a half of gardening leave today is the day I say goodbye to the amazing team at Bupa and embark on my next chapter as business development manager at Simplyhealth.
“Over the last few years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some great people from all over the Bupa business.”
