Bupa has launched a new bitesize academy module on supporting line managers to talk about period health, as part of the Bupa Academy for workplace health and wellbeing.

Stigma around period health continues to be a leading issue for women in the workplace, resulting in many employees feeling unsupported and organisations at risk of losing top talent.

Research shows 89% of those who menstruate have experienced anxiety or stress in the workplace due to their period and more than a third lie about the real reason for their absence due to fear of embarrassment or judgement.

Watch Richard Norris, Director of SME and Specialist Business talk to Petra Simic, Medical Director of Bupa Health Clinics about the vital role line managers can play in supporting period health in the workplace.

Petra shares tips, tools and advice on how managers can best approach a conversation on periods and how to support someone dealing with menstruation issues.
