Supra Brokers has hired Carola Peláez Salvo to lead its newly launched bespoke international health division.
The Miami-based firm said this was a strategic role underscoring its commitment to strengthening international health solutions for individual and corporate clients across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Salvo (pictured) worked at Avia for more than 10 years serving as relationship manager and corporate sales specialist where she earned recognition for developing tailored solutions for corporate and individual clients, the firm said.
“With over a decade of experience in the international health insurance sector, Carola brings extensive expertise in managing relationships across diverse client segments,” it added.
Supra Brokers CEO Robert Parra emphasised the importance of the appointment in the company’s regional strategy.
“Carola’s incorporation represents a major step forward in our expansion efforts,” he said.
“Her knowledge of both corporate and individual markets will allow us to consolidate our leadership in international health and deepen our relationships with clients and strategic partners throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.“
Salvo added: “I am delighted to take on this challenge in an organisation that has been contributing to the development of this sector for nearly four decades.
“In a context of high mobility and constant change, Latin American clients have shown growing interest in international health solutions.
“We will work to help individuals and companies adopt strategies that mitigate risks and strengthen their long-term wellbeing.“
