The Exeter appoints health and protection proposition leads and head of marketing

The Exeter has appointed proposition leads for its healthcare and protection products as well as a new head of marketing.

Matt Foster has been promoted to proposition lead for healthcare having been healthcare product manager.

Foster has almost three decades experience in the health and protection insurance industry. He joined The Exeter in June last year after contracting at OneFamily and BGL Group over the pandemic.

His previous roles include head of proposition at Guardian Financial Services, senior manager, products at AIG Life, head of product development at Legal & General, and product development manager at Standard Life Healthcare.

Meanwhile Jack Southcott has been promoted to proposition lead for protection products from proposition manager.

Southcott has has spent his entire 13 year career in the industry at The Exeter, having previously held the roles of product manager, marketing project leader and marketing executive .

Shelley Walker has been promoted to head of marketing from marketing manager.

Walker joined The Exeter a year ago from Royal London where she held the same role.

She has spent a dozen years in the sector including two spells at Royal London and a further year at Guardian Financial Services.
