Donna Ambler has joined TMG Mortgage Network to lead its new protection division TMG Protect.
TMG explained the move was aimed at giving further support to members to refer their business internally as well as to improve their skill sets.
The division is led by Ambler, who has joined as head of protection and has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.
She will also work closely with existing members and provider partners, to help members navigate the complexities of insurance products and deliver the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) expectations under its Consumer Duty.
Ambler said: “I am extremely excited to be heading up TMG Protect. This will provide us with a mechanism of really delivering the FCA’s Consumer Duty and taking the whole concept of treating our customers fairly to the next level.
