Towergate Health & Protection has appointed Jason Britton as commercial director.
Britton joins from Mercer Marsh Benefits after 12 years with the firm, most recently as regional director for the North West for Jelf. Before joining Mercer, he was a commercial manager at Bupa.
In his new role he will head up business development, client management and proposition development for the health, wellbeing, and protection business.
Revealing his move on LinkedIn, Britton said he was “very excited” to be joining Towergate and thanked his former colleagues at Mercer.
“There is so much opportunity within the business that I truly believe we have extremely exciting times ahead,” he added.
“I look forward to working with my new colleagues to help continue Towergate’s growth and repeat the huge successes achieved over the recent years.
“I want to say a massive thank you to all the colleagues at MMC who I owe so much too. I will miss you all.”
