Towergate Employee Benefits has appointed Roberto Russo as global benefits management – principal consultant.

Russo (pictured) will be responsible for managing, retaining and developing a portfolio of global clients, reporting to Sarah Dennis, head of international.

He will be involved in face-to-face communication with prospective and existing clients and account management. Part of his role will also include the growth and development of other individuals within the team as well as supporting Dennis.

Russo has nine years’ experience as an account executive at Generali Employee Benefits and most recently at Maxis Global Benefits Network.

He has supported multinational organisations in structuring and delivering benefits strategies across geographies – including the use of financing solutions such as pooling, global underwriting programmes, and captives.

Russo said: “As a principal consultant, my priority is to support the expansion of our global benefits proposition, ensuring Towergate Employee Benefits is meeting the evolving needs of its clients, and actively shaping best-in-class scalable solutions across global regions.”

Dennis added: “We are very pleased to welcome Roberto to the specialist international team. We are now 10-strong and have plans for further growth.

“We are also increasing our focus on financing, global minimum standards of benefits, DEI, and health and wellbeing.

“These areas are critical to deepening relationships with existing multinational clients and positioning Towergate Employee Benefits as a trusted partner in a competitive market.”
