TSC Connected Care, a digital health solutions company and owner of the Sensium remote patient monitoring platform, has acquired of all the assets of the Connected Health Group for an undisclosed sum.
These include the CareXS Digital Health Platform and its service offerings Meddy, Ally, Thelma, and Indy, which focus on medication management and remote monitoring for infusion therapy outside the hospital.
CareXS Meddy and CareXS Ally are currently used in care delivery for more than 21,000 Dutch patients.
TSC Connected Care said this strategic acquisition would further enhance its ability to connect patients and clinicians over the entire continuum of care, irrespective of location.
It expected the deal would to allow for “significant” commercial synergies as the CareXS platform can leverage opportunities outside of the Netherlands.
Meanwhile TSC Connected Care can boost its hospital@home profile with access to CareXS’s key customer base that is specialised in the delivery of care outside the hospital.
Chad Bateman, CEO at TSC Connected Care, said: “This acquisition will further fuel TSC Connected Care’s ambitions to be the partner of choice for healthcare systems that want to move more care from the hospital to the home environment.
“We are delighted to welcome the CareXS employees into the TSC Connected Care organisation and very much look forward to working together on the realization of our ambitious growth plans”
Cliff Bos, CEO at Connected Health Group, added: “CareXS has always been committed to bridging the gap between healthcare demand and securing access to sustainable and affordable healthcare with innovative digital health services.
“I am proud to announce today’s complementary acquisition and TSC Connected Care’s commitment to further enhance and complete the CareXS solutions footprint.”
