UnderwriteMe has announced three key leadership changes and appointments, including Tom Frenzel who has been appointed as manager, business development, UK and Ireland.
In his new role, Frenzel (pictured) will be responsible for client management, cultivating new partnerships and expanding UnderwriteMe’s footprint in the UK and Irish markets.
Frenzel was previously a senior account and business development manager at the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) from 2015.
Brett Laker has moved to the role of vice president, client solutions at Pacific Life Re.
He previously served as head of North America at UnderwriteMe from 2021, and prior to that was vice president and account executive at Pacific Life Re.
In this new role, Laker will report directly to Sarah Cheng who is responsible for the protection business in North America and Europe.
And as a result of that move, Scott Hunt has been appointed director, business development, North America.
He was previously an assistant vice president for client experience at Underwrite me from 2022.
Prior to that Hunt was at Northwestern Mutual in Wisconsin, USA for seven years, leaving as a senior director for new business solutions.
Hunt will focus on driving business development and accelerating the adoption of digital transformation initiatives across the North American insurance market.
Both Frenzel and Hunt will report to Paul Hughes, chief revenue and customer officer.
