This year’s World Cancer Day theme is about closing the cancer care gap. But what does that mean?

The cancer care gap is a term used to describe any inequities in cancer treatment based on factors like income, age, gender, ethnicity, and more.

This gap affects everyone, including you and your loved ones. But these barriers are not set in stone and can be changed through better education around cancer care.

How does this affect your clients?

You may have clients with employees who have experienced or been directly affected by cancer. This World Cancer Day keep your clients and their employees informed via our downloadable cancer toolkit.

Download Bupa’s World Cancer Day toolkit here.

The cancer toolkit includes:

Employer Internal Communication and guides to cancer cover for corporate customers and cancer cover for small business customers.

Guidance and support for line-managers is available alongside resources that clients can share with their team.

These include: A cancer prevention and awareness animation; video showing how cancer develops; a case study of Mike’s cancer journey; and the Inside: Female Cancers virtual event recording.

There is also a World Cancer Day 2022 Client email to share the cancer toolkit with your clients.
