It will be delivered across four service categories – health, mind, wellbeing and safety – and has been shaped by broker feedback and market insights, the insurer said.
From 1 January 2026, Elevate will be included as standard and as complimentary with all William Russell insurance policies, including international health, life and income protection policies, and across all tiers of membership, including group and family policies.
It will be available from existing policyholders’ next renewal date in 2026, and to all new policyholders immediately.

Inez Cooper, founder and managing director of William Russell, said: “We’re giving our members the tools to live healthier, happier and safer lives abroad – helping them achieve the expat lifestyle they’ve always dreamed of, anywhere in the world.
“This launch is about taking expat insurance to the next level by making it more supportive, more intuitive, and more rewarding.”
William Cooper, director of William Russell, said the move was a huge step forward for the firm.
“We’re bringing to market a membership proposition that you’d normally associate with a large insurer, and we’re making it available to all our members – individuals, families, and employees,“ he said.
“We’ve picked our service providers very carefully, skipping the traditional EAP-style services and instead investing in a gamified wellbeing platform and video-based counselling service that our members will actually use and value.”
Teresa Wighton, commercial director at William Russell, (pictured) added: “With people being much more health conscious, we’re delighted to be providing our members a truly digital wellbeing offering that is engaging and that will provide them with content relevant to their wellbeing goals and needs.
“The online access to trained counsellors will also provide our customers with a confidential and discreet service to support their mental health concerns. Together with the newly available telehealth service we’re making access to health and wellbeing simple and easy for our members.”
