William Russell is planning to ramp-up recruitment for its international private medical insurance (IPMI) adviser support team, marketing director William Cooper has told Health & Protection.
This week’s appointment of business development manager Dale Kent is the second hire to the team in less than a month and forms part of the company’s strategy to expand the sales department.
Kent joins from Cigna Healthcare where he was broker sales consultant and will report to international sales manager Paul Hawke, who himself joined the company from Axa Global Healthcare last month.
Expanding on Kent’s appointment, Cooper told Health & Protection: “Dale’s appointment is part of a strategy to bolster our global sales team with experienced IPMI professionals.
“We’re still looking to grow our sales team, but we’re waiting for individuals with the right balance of skill, experience, and connections – both Dale and Paul fit the bill.”
