Willis Towers Watson has appointed Tim Rourke as UK head of property and casualty (P&C) pricing, product, claims and underwriting in its insurance consulting and technology business.

Rourke (pictured) succeeds Graham Wright who has joined Saga as insurance pricing director.

Rourke was most recently head of intermediated insurance and distribution within Willis Towers Watson’s insurance consulting and technology business.

Before joining Willis Towers Watson he held a number of senior roles at LV=, including head of broker pricing and head of personal lines underwriting.

Stephen Jones, UK P&C consulting lead at Willis Towers Watson, said: “Tim has a proven track record and brings with him an outstanding reputation within the insurance industry and a wealth of knowledge of the specialist risks unique to the UK market.”

Duncan Anderson, global leader, insurance technology at Willis Towers Watson, said: “This senior appointment is a clear demonstration of our strategy to invest in industry-leading talent and build on the sustained success of our P&C business.

“We wish Graham well and look forward to Tim’s energy, expertise and leadership, which will prove invaluable as we continue to innovate and develop propositions that help our clients unlock their growth potential.”

Rourke added he was excited to be taking on the role.
