Western Provident Association (WPA) has become a corporate member of the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII).

Kathryn Vellacott, head of distribution and proposition at WPA, (pictured) said: “Joining AMII is a natural next step for us as we continue to grow and strengthen our presence in the market.

“Intermediaries are central to our distribution strategy, and AMII membership will help us build closer relationships with like-minded partners who share our focus on high standards, ethical practice and positive customer outcomes.

“We are excited about the value this will create for AMII members and their clients looking for an ambitious insurer committed to outstanding service.”

Dave Middleton, executive chairman of AMII, added: “We are delighted to welcome WPA as a corporate member of AMII. WPA has a long-established reputation within the health insurance market and has demonstrated impressive growth in recent years.

“Their commitment to working closely with intermediaries, maintaining high standards of service and supporting positive customer outcomes aligns strongly with AMII’s values.

“We look forward to working together to support advisers and continue raising standards across the sector.”
