WPA has launched Absolute Health, a fully insured claims rated product aimed at mid to large corporates.

The product is designed for companies that want to offer benefits which help them deliver their corporate healthcare strategy and objectives.

Brian Goodman, executive director of large corporate customers at WPA (pictured), said it had launched the product in response to feedback from intermediaries who were keen for it to have a fully insured option for larger schemes.

“Absolute Health is 100% insured and includes the option to include a profit share,” he said.

“Mental health, musculoskeletal and cancer pathways are included as standard and it also comes with access to our precision analytics platform.

“All customers will be able to utilise the WPA Health App – enabling them to start their treatment journey digitally,” he added.

Buck senior consultant Sarah Brannan noted the number of providers in the insured private medical insurance market has been shrinking in recent years, largely due to acquisitions.

“For those clients who don’t want to take on the additional liability represented by the corporate deductible funding mechanism, this re-opens WPA to them as a potential partner to deliver their medical benefits,” she said.
