WTW has announced the appointment of Matt Pincott as head of risk benefits for health and benefits GB, joining the leadership team as of 1 July.

Pincott was previously at Canada Life Group Insurance for almost 10 years, leaving as head of sales, a position he held for six and a half years.

Scott Bentley, senior director and head of large corporate, health and benefits GB, at WTW, said: “I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Matt Pincott as our new head of risk benefits for health and benefits GB at WTW.

“Matt joins our leadership team with effect from today and will only strengthen the exceptional talent we have in our business.

“He brings with him a wealth of market knowledge and experience and will help shape the future strategy and client solutions in the group risk space.”

Pincott said via LinkedIn: “After nearly three months in the garden, I’m delighted to be starting at WTW today as head of risk benefits.

“A hugely exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the group protection market and supporting the ever changing employee and employer needs.”
