Zurich launches intermediary portal for GIP and group life SME customers

Zurich has launched the Zurich Access Portal – an intermediary portal for group life and group income protection cover SME customers.

The portal is now available to organisations with between three and 250 employees and offers instant online quotes.

Intermediaries do not need to re-enter information for alternative quote options and can view, share and manage both their pipeline and portfolio of customers in one place.

The application process supports e-Signature enabled processes including proposal forms, trust documentation and direct debit mandates.  When required, chasing of customers is automatic with intermediaries kept updated on all activity. Customers can also submit signatures via their mobile phone.

Customers obtaining cover via the portal also benefit from a range of support services.  These include an employee assistance programme, access to counselling, return to work help and rehabilitation for those absent through illness.  Members are also given virtual GPs and health and wellbeing assistance through a number of tools including the My Healthy Advantage and Thrive apps.

Cindy Warden, head of Zurich corporate risk, said: “We’re excited to launch our new SME portal for intermediaries. We’ve listened to what they’ve told us they expect from a portal and have built ours with this feedback in mind. It is easy to use and offers simple eligibility criteria and an intuitive user experience designed to help intermediaries process SME business quickly and efficiently.”
