US life and healthcare insurance solutions provider AmeriLife Group has appointed Mark Springett as senior vice president, enterprise data and analytics.
Most recently Springett was head of data science, business intelligence (BI) and data at insurer Allianz Life.
In his new role he will partner with executive management to support the realisation of financial targets by leading the execution and management of an enterprise data and analytics strategy.
He will also serve as chair of the enterprise data and analytics governance team, manage operational analytics and is charged with building an improved data and analytics development process.
Commenting on Springett’s appointment, Tim Calvert, COO of AmeriLife, said: “We will be looking to Mark to make data an additional competitive advantage through our ability to efficiently extract insights from our proprietary data and intellectual property.
