Axa Global Healthcare has appointed Jo Sims as head of SME retention.
Sims joins from Axa Health where she had been head of SME direct sales since March 2021.
Since joining Axa Health, she has also held the roles of direct SME sales manager and direct sales manager.
She joined Axa back in 2008 from Egg as a team manager before progressing to the position of intermediary relationship manager.
Sims is being succeeded in her role by Tim Newman, who Axa Health told Health & Protection is widening his remit at the firm.
Newman, who has been head of intermediary management since January 2013, will continue to report into Paul Moulton, corporate and SME distribution director.
Newman joined Axa back in 2008 from Pru Health.
