Cigna Healthcare has appointed Michael Khan as chief executive officer of its Hong Kong business, subject to regulatory approval.

Responsible for advancing the growth and performance of Cigna Healthcare’s employer health benefits and individual health businesses in Hong Kong, Khan (pictured) will also focus on delivering resilient, customer-centric health solutions that meet the evolving needs of employers, employees and individuals.

He reports to Robert Peat, CEO of Asia Pacific, Cigna Healthcare International Health.

Khan joins from Mercer Marsh Benefits where he held senior roles in London, Singapore, and most recently leading their health and benefits practice in Hong Kong.

Peat said: “Hong Kong remains an important market for Cigna Healthcare.

“We see continued momentum in demand for both individual and employer-sponsored health solutions, and Michael’s leadership will help us accelerate growth, strengthen our customer value proposition, and build durable capabilities to support long-term success in Hong Kong.”

Khan added: “I am honoured to join Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong at a pivotal moment for the healthcare landscape.

“With nearly a century of experience serving the Hong Kong community, Cigna Healthcare is uniquely positioned to deliver integrated, high-quality health solutions. I look forward to working with our teams and partners to deepen customer relationships, support sustainable growth, and help improve the health and vitality of those we serve.”
