Employee benefits platform Tendr has ambitions to grow its broker network to at least 10 new partners and adding headcount over the coming year.
The provider offers brokers an off-the-shelf, co-branded benefits platform and app enabling them to automate client admin for the group insurance products they sell.
Intermediaries can also sell individual products direct to the uninsured client population via the app, as well as upsell a range of value-added benefits such as discounts off groceries, gym memberships, and early wage access.
The platform was officially launched in September, but head of partnerships Moynul Hoque (pictured) told Health & Protection that it had been under development since November 2021.
“Brokers can now sell everything their clients need in one place, helping to create long-term value,” Hoque said.
“Brokers earn a revenue share of the subscription fees generated, which could be up to £3 per employee, per month in additional revenue. We also provide our partners with leads we receive inbound, as our focus is on building distribution via partners.”
According to Hoque, the firm’s early partners include Halo Consulting, Hooray Health & Protection and Engage Health.
“This year, we plan to build our broker network and add at least 10 new partners. We plan to grow the team to 15 people by the end of the year, focusing mainly on product and engineering hires,” he added.
“We are UK focused for now, but the tech works for international benefits too.”
