Maxis Global Benefits Network (Maxis GBN) has announced that Klarity and Workplace Options are the latest suppliers to join its wellness technology marketplace.
Klarity specialises in preventive health screenings and early detection programmes, while Workplace Options helps people reintegrate back into their workplace following a prolonged absence.
Maxis’ marketplace offers multi-nationals digital-led health and wellness services from various providers around the world.
Catch it early
Klarity provides blood screenings and health assessments at work, home or in a medical setting.
Will Cooper, chief executive of Klarity, said: “Screenings are crucial for employees to ensure that any underlying conditions they have are caught early before they become debilitating or even deadly.”
Dr Leena Johns, chief health and wellness officer at Maxis GBN (pictured), added: “It’s no secret that when it comes to healthcare, prevention is crucial for improving health outcomes and managing medical costs.
“Yet often, screenings aren’t covered as part of a standard employee benefits programme or can be difficult to access.
“I’m delighted that our multi-national clients can now work with Klarity to provide valuable early detection solutions to their people, no matter where they live and work,” she said.

Workplace Options, which is part of Telus Health, has supported more than 88 million people from 127,000 organisations in around 200 countries back into work following a health-related absence.
Jean-Baptiste Gruet, chief revenue officer at Workplace Options, said the longer employees are away from work, the more daunting it can be to return.

Dr Johns added that returning to work after a prolonged absence can be overwhelming for employees, impacting not only their recovery but their mental health too.
