Pulse Insurance is launching a new health insurance and employee benefits brand – Pulse Clarity.
The provider already offers specialist protection plans and group life schemes and is now moving into the health and employee benefits market.
It said it was “expanding into areas where we see a demand for either cover or competition”.
Ben Broom will lead the operation as head of Pulse Clarity, progressing from his previous role as development underwriter for Pulse Specialty.
Broom told Health & Protection that Clarity is introducing a targeted brand for employee benefits and healthcare intermediaries.
“All healthcare advisers will go through that brand,” he said.
A new medical insurance product is already being worked on with partners and more information will be coming soon, with further products also planned.
Pulse said the aim of its new adviser service was to “provide clear, transparent, fluid, resolution to your client’s insurance needs not just through the products and services we already provide, but also expanding into areas where we see a demand for either cover or competition”.
“With it, we will shortly be launching a new website which will work as a source of information for all the products sold by Pulse that companies can use to enhance their employees’ benefits,” it added.
