Sesame Network has reported a 28% increase in protection sales during the first half of the year.
It attributed this to growing intermediary numbers and also greater recognition of protection by advisers.
The broker network, which is part of Sesame Bankhall, also posted a 27% rise in mortgage completions.
Overall, lending volumes increased 32% compared to the first six months of 2025.
Sesame said the results had been driven by recruitment momentum – more than 180 advisers joined the network during the period.
There are now a total of 760 advisers and 260 member firms – a 25% and 10% year-on-year increase, respectively – and the network reported a strong pipeline of firms looking to join.
Sesame director Toni Smith (pictured) said the network is delivering on its growth strategy.
She added that there was “encouraging growth in protection, with more advisers recognising the value of those deeper client conversations and the real difference they can make to client outcomes”.
