Syrona Health has appointed Tina Jennings, a former managing director of Towergate Health and Protection, as chief commercial officer.

Jennings (pictured) is the current general secretary of the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII).

She started her health and wellbeing career as a cardiologist specialist and field trainer at AstraZeneca before joining Bupa where she worked as a regional development executive and corporate insurance consultant.

From there she moved to Towry where she held a number of director positions before taking the MD role at Towergate and subsequently moving on to Howden Employee Benefits where she was executive director and global practice leader.

Commenting on Jennings’ appointment, Anya Roy & Chantelle Bell, co-founders of Syrona Health, said: “We are delighted to welcome Tina to Syrona Health.

“Tina’s appointment will accelerate the execution of our strategic plans and underpin our commitment to building a strong organisation that delivers sustainable growth. Importantly, it will facilitate sharing of commercial best practices.

“Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue in our goal of using technology to disrupt gynaecological care and workplace benefits“
