It has grown significantly since it was founded four and half years ago and currently has just under 1,000 clients and £9 million Annual Premium Income.
Following significant investment in 2016, the group expanded its team and branch network with Carl Eaves brought in to head up a dedicated private healthcare arm. In 2020 Tom Burfitt joined as joint managing director.
Eaves, joint managing director, said: “As one of the UK’s fastest growing independent brokers we wanted to join AMII as a well-established and respected trade body in the medical insurance world.
“We have been particularly impressed with the way AMII has responded to the current Coronavirus crisis – which has presented both significant challenges and opportunities for the private medical insurance sector.
“It is certainly the case that it is a sector that needs to respond and adapt to meet the needs of its clients in what is a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.”
Stuart Scullion, AMII Chairman, said: “We’re delighted to have UKGlobal Healthcare Solutions on board as our newest member. With three new members in as many months, especially during this unprecedented period, it’s a strong endorsement of our positioning as the voice of the health insurance and wellbeing industry.”
