Work Health Experts has joined group risk industry body Grid.

Siera Torontow, managing director and co-founder of Work Health Experts, said: “We help reduce risk at source by building leadership capability, improving health literacy and strengthening communication so issues are recognised and addressed sooner.

“Membership of Grid gives Work Health Experts the opportunity to work alongside the insurers, advisers and industry leaders, bringing prevention and education higher up the agenda.

“In this way, the ethos of Work Health Experts is aligned with Grid’s, with a shared belief that better outcomes come from acting earlier.

“Grid has long promoted the benefits of group risk in using early intervention to reduce long-term absences by providing preventative health measures, vocational rehabilitation, and mental health support, keeping employees in the UK workforce healthier and more productive.”

Colin Fitzgerald, chairman of Grid, (pictured) added: “Much of the success of Grid as an industry body is the breadth and depth of its membership. The positive influences work in both directions.

“It is great to have a strong membership of people and companies directly working in group risk, alongside the perspective and input we receive from our diverse array of partners.

“We are, therefore, very happy to welcome Work Health Experts and look forward to the voice they will be able to add in terms of early intervention and prevention.”
