The Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII) has added Cluda, an AI-powered workspace designed specifically for insurance brokers, as a corporate member.

Cluda.ai supports brokers working across employee benefits and health insurance, where complex policy wordings, exclusions and annual changes can be time-consuming and difficult to compare manually.

Michael McGurn, CEO of Cluda, (pictured) said: “AMII sits at the centre of the UK health and wellbeing market, so joining as a corporate member was a natural step for us.

“My background is in IPMI and employee benefits, and in my time as a broker, I often wished there was a quicker, more reliable way to compare complex health and benefits wordings and clearly evidence what has changed at renewal.

“Cluda.ai was built to solve exactly that, reducing the admin burden while improving confidence for advisers and clients. We are looking forward to contributing to the community and working alongside the market to help raise standards and strengthen trust in health insurance.”

Dave Middleton, executive chairman of AMII, said: “We are delighted to welcome Cluda to AMII.

“The use of technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and transparency is becoming increasingly important across our sector, and Cluda’s solution addresses a genuine need within employee benefits and health insurance.”
