Utmost has launched Utmost Wealth Portugal, establishing a new distribution company in the country.
The new distribution company will be headed up by Pedro Paixão (pictured), director of Utmost Wealth Portugal.
A highly experienced leader in the financial advice, private banking and wealth markets; Paixão brings nearly 19 years’ sector experience and has been managing Utmost’s wealth protection in Portugal since 2019.
The expansion forms part of Utmost’s international growth strategy following the 2024 acquisition of Lombard International, now known as Utmost Luxembourg. The Portuguese distribution company will distribute solutions from Utmost’s Ireland and Luxembourg entities, providing jurisdictional optionality and enhanced access to Utmost’s product suite.
In April, Utmost hosted an industry event attended by more than 75 financial professionals and partners, highlighting the growing demand for specialised international wealth solutions in Portugal.
